Garden clean-up FAQs
Can you mow really long or overgrown grass?
Yes. This is one of the jobs we do most. For grass that is too long for a standard mow we cut it back in stages with our battery line trimmer and mower so we do not scalp it, then give it a clean finish. No lawn is too far gone.
My lawn has not been mowed in months. Can you help, and will you judge me?
Absolutely we can help, and there is no judgement at all. Life gets busy. We bring overgrown lawns back to tidy all the time, and most clients then keep that result with a regular weekly or fortnightly visit so it never gets away again.
How long does a clean-up take, and how many visits?
Most one-off clean-ups are sorted in a single visit. A severely overgrown lawn may need a follow-up a few days later to bring it down safely in stages. We tell you what to expect when we quote on-site.
Do I have to sign up to a regular service after a clean-up?
No. A clean-up is a one-off with no obligation. Most clients do choose to keep the result looking great on a regular weekly or fortnightly visit, but that is entirely up to you.
Can you tidy the garden before I move out or sell?
Yes. A one-off clean-up is a popular choice before a sale or when moving out, to get the garden looking presentable. We quote it in person and give you a fixed price.
