Yard and garden maintenance can be funded through the NDIS where it is reasonable and necessary and relates to a participant’s disability, and it is written into the plan. We look after many participants across Adelaide’s inner north on regular fortnightly visits, so the garden stays tidy and manageable without ever becoming a big job.
We invoice against NDIS Support Item 01_019_0120_1_1 (House or Yard Maintenance) and email a tax invoice for every visit, which keeps things simple for self-managed participants and plan managers alike. We are not an NDIS registered provider, so self-managed and plan-managed participants are welcome, while agency or NDIA-managed plans need a registered provider.
If an overgrown yard needs an initial clean-up before regular visits begin, we can quote the one-off clean-up and the ongoing weekly or fortnightly maintenance together. Our quiet, low-vibration battery equipment suits participants with sensory sensitivities.
